JOURNAL - Seeking new Editor

by | January 31, 2019

After eight years Dr Sue Anderson is stepping down as Editor of the Oral History Australia Journal and Expressions of Interest (EoI) are currently being accepted to find her replacement.

Published annually, the Journal contains peer-reviewed papers, non-peer-reviewed articles/project reports and book reviews. In 2017 hard copies of the Journal were discontinued and it is now published only online with the assistance of Oral History Australia’s Web Manager.

The Editor's position is voluntary and is responsible for duties including:

  • receiving contributions for the Journal
  • editing non-peer-reviewed articles and, where necessary, peer-reviewed articles that have passed through the peer-review process
  • participating as a member of the Editorial Board for peer-reviewed papers
  • working with the designer to produce a PDF version of the Journal and
  • promoting the Journal to prospective contributors.
The new Editor will take over the production of the 2019 Journal. The deadline for articles/project reports is 31 March 2019 and for peer-reviewed papers 31 May 2019.

Expressions of Interest for the Editor's position must be submitted to Dr Anderson at sue.anderson@unisa.edu.au by 1 March 2019
