Applications for travel grants to attend the International Oral History Association (IOHA) Conference in Finland in 2018 must be lodged by 30 December 2017.
IOHA Conference Grants take the form of financial support for travel costs, accommodation or conference fees. The grant is a supplement; applicants are advised to start looking for funds from other sources as soon as they determine their intention to participate.
Applications are assessed by the IOHA Scholarship Committee which comprises Sue Anderson (Australia), Outi Fingerroos (Finland), Martha Narkunas (USA), and Mark Wong (Singapore).
Consideration will be given only to those whose proposals for inclusion in the conference program have been accepted.
The IOHA Scholarship Committee will send out notification letters to all applicants whose applications were received before the 30 December 2017 deadline. In order to receive an award, those selected must submit their final abstracts and papers by the published deadline and present their papers in person at the conference in Jyväskylä.
